Students Raise Concerns as Refund Delay Affects Registration and Academic Activities

Several students of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) who applied for the NELFUND loan and later received disbursement have raised serious concerns over delays in their school fee refunds.

According to multiple complaints gathered by Studentsdash, over 1,000 students who completed the refund process are yet to receive their money, even after submitting the required refund letters to the school.

“We Submitted Our Letters, But Nothing Has Happened”

Many affected students say they followed all instructions given by the school, including submitting their refund letters early, yet no refund has been made.

“Some people that submitted after me have already received their refund, but up till now I’ve not seen anything,” a student said.

Another student shared:

“It’s almost two academic sessions now. I’ve submitted everything, but there’s still no refund.”

Refund Delay Affecting Course Registration

For some students, the delay has gone beyond inconvenience and is now affecting their academics.

“I can’t even register my courses because the school hasn’t refunded my money. This is very frustrating,” another student complained.

Several students say they are stuck between waiting for a refund and trying to meet school deadlines with no clear communication on when the issue will be resolved.
