UPDATE: JAMB Begins Generation of Profile Code for 2026 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially started the generation of profile codes for the 2026 UTME.

All candidates planning to register for the 2026 UTME are advised to generate their profile code early to avoid last-minute issues.

✅ How to Generate Your JAMB Profile Code

Follow the steps below:

1. Open the SMS app on your phone
2. Type your NIN number (e.g. 07075012541)
3. Send it to 55019 or 66019

After sending the message, your JAMB profile code will be sent to you via SMS.

⚠️ Important Things to Note

• The phone number must be active
• The SIM card must be registered in your name
• Make sure your NIN is correct before sending

This profile code is mandatory for UTME registration, so candidates are advised to generate it as soon as possible.
