EBSU Withdrawal List Controversy: Publishing Error Discovered After Student Complaints

- Students who are now in 200 Level were expected to have met a minimum CGPA of 2.0 for their First Year.
- Students who are now in 300 Level were expected to have met a minimum CGPA of 2.5 for their Second Year.
The error in publication reportedly led to the inclusion of some students who had actually met the approved minimum CGPA requirement.
As part of the resolution, all students who met the required minimum CGPA but were mistakenly shortlisted on the withdrawal list have been directed to print out their academic results and submit them to the Head of Department (HOD) for verification. The deadline for submission is on or before Friday.
The statement further reassured students that the faculty executives remain committed to protecting the academic rights and interests of students and ensuring that due process is followed in matters affecting their academic progression.
