FINAL REGISTRATION NOTICE: ₦30,000 PENALTY AWAITS DEFAULTING STUDENTS

NOTICE TO ALL EBSU STUDENTS

The University Management has observed with serious concern the persistently low level of school fee payment and course registration by both fresh and returning students, despite the online registration portal having remained open for over two and a half months (10th November 2025 – 4th February 2026).

Although the University Calendar scheduled registration with penalty to commence on 23rd January 2026, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mike U. Awoke, has graciously approved an extension such that registration with penalty will now begin on 12th February 2026.

Accordingly, any student who fails to pay school fees and register courses on or before 12th February 2026 will be required to pay a mandatory penalty of ₦30,000.00, in addition to the prescribed fees.

Please note that payment and registration with penalty will last for only one week, ending on Thursday, 20th February 2026, after which both the fee payment portal and course registration portal will be permanently closed for the semester.

Students are therefore strongly advised to utilize this final opportunity to complete their fee payments and course registration at the normal rate before 12th February 2026.

Furthermore, Management wishes to emphasize that the Vice-Chancellor has also directed that no supplementary or late registration will be entertained after the final closure of the portal on 20th February 2026.
