The management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) spoke on the issue of NELFUND refunds during a meeting held between the school authorities and the Student Union Government (SUG).

What the School Management Said About NELFUND
According to the DVC, the school management stated the following:
1️⃣ NELFUND Refunds Were Ongoing
The DVC said that NELFUND refunds were ongoing and affected students would receive their refunds in due time.
2️⃣ Students Were Advised to Check Their Details
He said that students were expected to ensure their personal details were correct, both before and after applying for NELFUND, to avoid issues with the refund process.
3️⃣ Participation Was Optional
The DVC also stated that participation in the NELFUND scheme was optional and not compulsory for students.
What Students Should Note
- Refund processing was ongoing as of the meeting date
- Errors in personal details could affect refunds
- Students were free to choose whether or not to participate in NELFUND
