EBSU Announces Date for 2025/2026 Freshmen Matriculation Ceremony
The management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has officially announced the date for the 2025/2026 Freshmen Matriculation Ceremony.
According to the university’s academic calendar, the matriculation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
This event marks an important milestone for all newly admitted students as they officially become bonafide members of the EBSU community. The ceremony is expected to take place across all campuses, and students are advised to prepare ahead for the occasion.
Before the matriculation day, the Freshmen Orientation Programme will come to an end on Friday, January 16, 2026, giving new students the opportunity to fully understand the university’s rules, culture, and expectations.
All newly admitted students are encouraged to complete their registration on time and ensure they have received their matriculation gowns from their respective faculties before the ceremony.
