POST‑UTME APPLICATION & SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UTME & DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
The Management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) invites all candidates—those who selected EBSU as their first‑choice institution, and those seeking to change—to apply for the 2025/2026 Post‑UTME screening exercise.
Eligibility & Application Window
- Minimum JAMB Score: 150 and above
- Application Period: 14 July 2025 – 14 August 2025
- Application Fee: ₦2,000 (non‑refundable)
Who May Apply
- UTME candidates who scored ≥150 in the 2025 UTME
- Direct Entry candidates (ND, NCE, IJMB, HND) with requisite O’Level credits
- Candidates awaiting NABTEB, WAEC (May/June) or NECO (June/July) 2025 results
Note: Names on all documents (O’Level, JAMB, etc.) must be identical. Any discrepancy may lead to disqualification.
Screening Process
- Online Only: No physical attendance required
- Post‑UTME Portal: All candidates will be notified of their admission status via the EBSU portal
- Documentation Upload: O’Level results must be uploaded both on the EBSU portal and the JAMB CAPS portal
- Admission Offer: Must be accepted within four (4) weeks of issuance or it will be withdrawn
- Pre‑Degree Admissions: Based on the average of JAMB and Pre‑Degree scores
Direct Entry Specifics
- Access the EBSU portal and complete the same online screening steps
- Institutions must verify your A‑Level certificate on the JAMB portal to enable EBSU’s recommendation
How to Apply
- Log in to the EBSU Post‑UTME Portal
- Navigate to “Online Application Forms” under Quick Menu
- Select either “UTME Application” or “Direct Entry Application”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number (correct format) and click LOGIN
- Generate and pay your invoice (₦2,000) at any bank or via debit card online
- Return to the portal to complete and submit your form
- Ensure you use your personal email and phone number
