The Speaker,
Ebonyi State House of Assembly,
Nkaliki Road, Abakaliki,
Ebonyi State.
Dear Honourable Speaker,
REQUEST FOR IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATION FACILITIES IN EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITIES
I hope this letter meets you well. My name is [Your Name], and I am a concerned student writing to bring to your attention the poor state of education facilities in our universities, especially in terms of classroom infrastructure and power supply.
In many of our lecture halls, the situation is very discouraging. The fans are not working, making the halls extremely hot and uncomfortable for learning. The whiteboards are damaged, making it difficult for lecturers to write properly. To make matters worse, there is no generator to provide electricity when there is a power outage, leaving students struggling to learn in the dark and lecturers unable to use projectors or microphones for proper teaching.
As students, we believe education should be a top priority, and we are appealing to the House of Assembly to take urgent action to fix these issues. Here are some suggested solutions:
1. Provision of Generators: The state government should supply generators to universities so that students can have an alternative power source during outages.
2. Repair of Lecture Halls: Faulty fans and damaged whiteboards should be repaired or replaced to create a better learning environment.
3. Budget Allocation for Education Infrastructure: More funds should be allocated to improve the facilities in our universities.
4. Regular Maintenance: A system should be put in place to ensure that university facilities are regularly checked and repaired to prevent further damage.
We believe that if these issues are addressed, students will be able to focus better, and the quality of education in Ebonyi State will improve greatly. We appreciate the efforts of the government in other areas and hope that this concern will also be treated as a priority.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to seeing positive changes soon.
Yours sincerely,
(Your Name)
