EBSU 2025/2026 First Semester Examination Date Shifted - New Registration Deadline Announced
EBSU Updates Exam Date: 2025/2026 First Semester Exams Postponed by Two Weeks

POSTPONEMENT OF COURSE REGISTRATION DEADLINE AND COMMENCEMENT OF 2025/2026 FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS FOR ALL STUDENTS
The Management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has officially approved the postponement of the course registration deadline and the commencement of the 2025/2026 First Semester Examinations for all students.
This decision followed a passionate appeal made by the SUG President during the handover ceremony of the SUG vehicle to the Executive on Thursday, 26th February 2026. The appeal requested that Management consider shifting the course registration deadline and examination date by seven (7) days to allow newly admitted students enough time to complete their online school fee payments and course registration.
In response, the University Management immediately held a meeting with some Deans and, on compassionate grounds, approved the postponement of the commencement of examinations by two (2) weeks.
Important Dates to Note:
- Course Registration/Payment Portal Closes: Thursday, 12th March 2026 by 11:59pm
- Commencement of Examinations: Monday, 16th March 2026
This gracious extension is to enable students tidy up their online fee payments and complete their course registration properly. Students are strongly advised to take advantage of this grace period, as Management has clearly stated that no further extension will be granted.
All students are therefore encouraged to:
- Confirm that their school fees are fully paid.
- Complete and submit their course registration.
- Print and secure all necessary documents ahead of examinations.
In addition, students should not see this postponement as extra leisure time. It is a valuable opportunity to study thoroughly and prepare well for the upcoming examinations. Students are advised to make full use of the Studentsdash website and mobile app to access past questions, study materials, and relevant academic resources to boost their preparation.
Proper planning and early preparation remain key to academic success.
Please be guided accordingly.
