Paying your Ebonyi State University (EBSU) school fees and printing your Remita invoice is now easier with the official online system. This guide will show you what to do, and the video above gives you a clear visual walk-through of every step.
What You Need Before You Start
Before you begin the payment process, make sure you have:
- A stable internet connection
- Your Matriculation Number (returning students) or JAMB Registration Number (freshers)
- A valid ATM/Debit card (for online payment)
- Your portal password

1. Log in to the EBSU Student Portal
Go to the official student portal and enter your login details to sign in. If this is your first time, create or verify your account as instructed. You’ll need your JAMB or Matric number and password to access the dashboard.
2. Generate Your School Fees Invoice
Once logged in:
- Navigate to the section for School Fees/Generate Invoice
- Choose the correct academic session
- Select your student level and other details
- Click Generate Invoice
The portal will create a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code that you need to make payment. (IJSAR)
3. Pay the Fees
There are generally two ways to pay once you have the RRR:
- Online Payment: Use your debit/ATM card through the Remita payment portal.
- Bank Payment: Print the invoice and take it to any commercial bank that processes Remita if you prefer to pay in person.
